The inner parts of the sun

• We review energy production in the sun. We also discuss nuclear energy on earth. I will leave neutrinos until next week. [Cf. CM Ch. 16 on the sun.]
• We will spend some time going over quiz questions and reviewing what we have learned so far. This list of formulas in .pdf format may help. (I hope that your computers can display pdf documents. It is pretty standard by now, and it's better than html for formulas.)
• There is a midterm exam this Thursday. It will have 30 multiple choice questions and two short answer questions. Calculators will not be allowed.
