The inner parts of the sun

• We are now ready to study the inner parts of the sun. In particular, the standard model of the sun, the nuclear energy source of the sun, (also nuclear energy on earth). Some of this involves learning how the basic physics processes work. [Cf. CM Ch. 16 on the sun.]
• We did not get to nuclear energy on earth, but there are a couple of easy quiz questions on that, so you should read the corresponding web pages. We will talk about that on Tuesday.
