Pine Mountain Observatory:

Pine Mountain Observatory, east of Bend, opens Friday/Saturday, May 23/24, for our 2008 Public Drop-in Visitors' Season. Show up at dusk, dressed for cold weather, to view planets, star clusters, and galaxies all night through some of our large telescopes. We'll be open Fri/Sat evenings through September, weather permitting. $5 donation/visitor encouraged. Details at http://pmo-sun.uoregon.edu/~pmo/.
